Is Fraxel Dual and Alexandrite necessary to completely rid me of my genetic freckles or can Fraxel work by itself? (Photo)

there are lots of options and the dual + alex is a good one-

we'll often apply IPL and the Q  switched Alex laser in the same session as another option

Don't let anyone fool you these will never go away completely.  Lasers like fraxel dual, q switch or pico lasers (alex etc), TCA peels etc can give improvement and will take a series of treatments.  But there is no absolute cure for this and one treatment will not be enough.  Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Since you have extensive sun damage you may need both the Fraxel laser and the Alex-Trivantage to treat these spots.  I often use a combination to treat these spots and it will probably take several sessions and a combination of treatments to remove these completely.  Please consult an expert in these lasers for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green

Alexandrite lasers, IPL and Fraxel Dual are all good options.  TCA peels, PicoSure or PicoPrima Lasers with 755nm or 532nm wavelengths of laser light can also Produce excellent results.  There are many good options for freckle removal, each with it's own benefits, risks and costs.  You can always get a second opinion from another expert physician who has all of the options and lots of experience.
