Depending on the size of your implants and the tightness of your tissues prior to the surgery, it usually takes 3 to 6 months for the breasts to soften.  This is because you need to wait for the swelling to leave the breasts (6 to 8 weeks), and then wait for your breast tissues and skin to stretch and accommodate to the new implants (3 to 6 months).If you have any doubts as to your degree of recovery, please visit with your plastic surgeon who can share with you your stage of relaxation.
