I had a root canal completed December 2016 on a top molar. I had a build-up done in January and placement of a permanent crown in February. The bite was a tad high but nothing bad. Fast forward to now- April 24th and I am having this pulsating/throbbing sensation 24/7 with an increase in pain/pulsating feeling upon movement. It has gotten worse the last 2 days. If I push on the tooth or eat, I get a lot of discomfort. I am currently taking tylenol and keeping ice on it at night. Any thoughts?

I would call your dentist to see if he/she would like to see you for the repair of the temporary before the crown seat appointment. Keep the area clean and avoid eating on that side.
