Is it safe for a 13 year old to get laser hair removal on her bikini line?

My daughter is a dancer and she has a lot of pubic hair and she is very embarrassed about it. When she wears a bikini it sticks out too. With her being a dancer she has to wear costumes that can be revealing in that area. She is very self-conscious about it and has been begging me for a while to get it removed. Is it safe for her or can it cause problems for her? Thank you.

If you are talking about hair removal, then I think either system would be appropriate as long as you use the 1064 ND:YAG setting which is safe to use on all skin types.

You may have a very superficial burn. There is always a possibility of this after laser hair removal. The next time you have a laser treatment tell your technician of your side effects from the last treatment and they can adjust the laser accordingly. In the mean time you could use Aquaphor or...
