My 13 year old daughter wants to have her upper lip hair removed. Is laser hair removal a good option.

I always recommend that our laser patients have hit puberty, as this gives us a better understanding of your hair growth. If your daughter has hit puberty, then laser hair removal is a viable option. There are many risks associated with laser hair removal so it is really important to choose the right medical clinic at which to have treatments performed and that she understands all the risks involved with treatment.  

It is a safe procedure to do, keep in mind tho it will take at least 5-6 treatments for the results to be permanent.

Teen-age years are tough enough without being a girl with facial hair.  Laser hair removal is safe and effective, even on teens.  As long as the hair is dark she should get a good result.
