What is a Safe BMI for Laser/Vaser Lipo?

Asked By:scorpio55

I am Interested in getting laser/vaser lipo and have researched it for a while. However, when I called for a consultation the person on the phone only asked my height and weight and when I told her, she just said that it "wasnt for you, your BMI is too high and if you lose 50lbs, then call us back". Is this normal? If I lose 50lbs, why would I need laser lipo? Through my research, a discussion of BMI never came up. My bmi is 38. Do I need to lower my bmi or just find another Dr. Office?
