Hello, I’m wondering what procedure would be best to give me a more desirable lip shape? Should I get a lip flip? Lip filler? What would you suggest to make my lips look better?

Answer: Lip Filler v. Lip Flip Adding lip filler would be a great option for you before doing a Botox "lip flip." You can start by adding a syringe of filler to add volume to the upper lip which would help improve the shape and balance the upper lip with the lower lip fullness. Adding lip filler can also correct minor asymmetries of the lip and improve hydration. Please make sure to have an in-person consultation with an experienced injector!

Answer: Lip filler Hello, and thanks for your question. I believe you are a great candidate for lip fillers, which are a more permanent option than a lip flip. Most lip fillers last about 6-18 months and juvederm is one of our most popular lip fillers. A lip flip uses botox to make the lips appear bigger, but it doesn't use filler to actually make them fuller-plus it only lasts about 8-12 weeks. Make sure you are going to an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon. Please see my attached link on fillers. Best of luck to you!
