Does Propecia or its generic form cause facial bloating or water retention in the face?

I've been on generic Propecia for 2 weeks and have noticed some facial bloating the past few days. I've read online it can be a side effect of Propecia.

yes, bloating has been reported, although it is quite rare. I recommend consultation with an experienced hair surgeon to help figure out options. As the swelling could be an allergic reaction, I recommend that you immediately stop taking the medication.

Bloating of the face has been reported and I suspect that it may reflect an allergic reaction to the drug which can cause rashes and bloating of the face
