I was treated 6 days ago with the Halo Laser. On Day 2 and Day 3 I experienced some redness but my face became VERY red on Day 4. More brown spots came to the surface. Today I have a ton of brown spots on my face but no flaking. Is this normal? Is my skin damaged. I have had no sun exposure since my treatment.

Like others have said, 95% of patients will have settled by now, the holes you see are secondary to the ERBIUM component of Halo, it should subside in the next 2-3 months, but I have seen prolonged grids or dots. Easy fix- use a Fraxel with small holes, high density in a 20 mj setting - ...
100% not, the laser is very superficial. In fact Halo is one of the most superficial lasers even in the highest setting. You have to go down another .5 cm in most areas to even hit fat, the energy delivered will not cause fat loss. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
Thank you for the great question and I'm sorry you're having this issue. The good news is that this is only temporary! What happens in some patients is that the swelling from the laser treatment causes the pores to close up and acne to form. As the swelling goes down and the pores open up again...
