Can a lip lift significantly impact the smile line?

The simple answer is yes a lip lift can impact one's smile line dependent upon the amount of lift performed and what smile line a patient demonstrates before the procedure. The answer is yes.  It can change the smile line, although the change is usually not drastic.  Be careful about choosing a surgeon for lip lift.  Make sure to find good representative photos that clearly show you the incision line.  The last thing you want in the middle of your face is a scar 

As in any procedure, the success has to do with a number factors: surgical technique and the individual patient's anatomy are two very important factors. Lip lift can raise/increase the amount of pink/red lip that shows in the upper lip which can give a very nice result.
