I am in the Dominican Republic getting a tummy tuck and lipo from the States. Here, they use a faja for compression after sx. My concern is they claim the faja is what gives you your permanent shape. They insist that I wear a 2 stage faja that is so tight, it indents my skin, and makes it so I cant breath. I refused. I will wear my 1 stage garment that is still tight, but not to the point of feeling faint. I have read NO WHERE that supports tight faja's being beneficial, in any way.
