Can filler soften a strong chin? (Photo)

Question

I have a strong chin & big nose that I got from my dad. I noticed in pictures that others take of me it's sticks out a lot & I dont like it. I want to boost my side profile starting with my lips & chin. Can I get filler above my chin to help with this or would that make it look worse? or would I need a surgery? The horizontal linear crease that lies above the chin and below the lower lip is called the "mental" crease (and gets its name after the mentum, which is the chin). When this crease is very deep, as appears to be in the photos provided, an HA lifting filler can be used to elevate and smooth it and in so doing can make the chin appear less prominent. An HA lip filler can be used for the lower lip to enhance it and create greater proportionately and harmony between the projections of the lips, chin, and nose in profile. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Hope this helps and best of luck.

An in-person consultation would be needed to give you a more accurate answer as to what treatment would be best to achieve your goals. You have a perfect profile. Your chin shape is what many people desire. I would suggest avoiding adding filler to the chin as it will make it look too big a for bulky, not soft at all.My recommendation is to add filler to your lower lip and maybe int o the chin crease to soften the chin tilt. It will take an artist touch to do that, but I belie that to the the best approach to your concern if you wish to try something at all. Otherwise, your profile is honestly perfect.
