Would chin filler help mask an overbite? (photos)

I've always had a moderate overbite since I was a kid. I went through orthodontic treatment three years ago, which included braces (which I still have) and extractions: .I'm wondering if chin fillers might help mask the overbite a bit and enhance my lower profile. Could you provide some insights on this? Thank you

Chin fillers, like any other cosmetic procedure, can indeed alter the shape and structure of your face to some extent and may help enhance your lower profile. However, it's important to note that chin fillers are not a direct treatment for an overbite. They can help to create an illusion of balance by augmenting a receding or weak chin, but they do not correct the overbite itself.

Overbite correction typically involves orthodontic treatment or, in severe cases, oral surgery. Since you are already undergoing orthodontic treatment, it's best to have a discussion with your orthodontist about your concerns. They can give you the most accurate information based on your specific situation.

Fillers can improve the balance and proportion of the lower face, which can have a positive impact on your overall appearance. Chin fillers can also provide some improvement in the appearance of an overbite by creating more projection, they may not completely mask the overbite.  It is recommended you have a consult with a qualified provider and discuss your concerns, they will guide you through risks, benefits and expectations.

Every patient is very different. Your photos show a beautiful profile as it is. If you do have an overbite, it is very very small and cannot be appreciated on the photos here. I suggest you go in person consultation with a qualified physician who can access your anatomy and mimicry in person to determine if it's worth it or not. Chin filler is very tricky and needs to be executed perfectly as not to bulk the lower face.
