18 months post op, what can be causing swelling this far into healing? (photos)

I’m a year and a half post op, and my nose is still swollen/swells particularly in the morning. I was told because I have thin skin it would be 6 months to heal (I understand it can take up to 2 years ) but I thought by now it would stop swelling so much. If I compare pictures from now to the first few months, the swelling is the same. I also still feel like my nose is blocked sometimes. I’ve messaged my surgeon and the response was just “maybe that’s just your skin and body structure”.
