Heyy . I'm 20 years old . I have never had anything done . This is a raw pic of me . Could i be a good candidate for buccal fat removal ? Also , what other procedures could i do to look prettier and enhance my features ? I'm overweight right now , so idk if that affects my cheeks and it's what makes them look chubbier . I just want to feel and look prettier . Any advice is welcome

Hi there. It's Dr. Chopra. I think you've got great features. I honestly would not recommend any facial procedures on you at this time. If you did want a slightly more sculpted cheek area then a buccal fat removal could be great. This is one of my favorite facial contouring procedures which creates a slimming look and reduces the appearance of chubby cheeks or “chipmunk cheeks” in the lower part of the face. This quick surgery can enhance the appearance of high cheek bones and give a more sculpted and chiseled facial look. Best of all, buccal fat pad removal is a permanent procedure and the buccal fat does not come back.

The best candidates for Buccal Fat Pad have an overall attractive facial appearance with nice high cheek bones but with chubby cheeks (also referred to as “chipmunk cheeks” by some people) that do not go away despite diet and exercise. This can cause you to look heavier in the face than you really are. The overall size of the buccal fat pad is a little smaller than a ping pong ball and removing it can make a big improvement. Removal of the Buccal Fat Pad in these patients can make the cheeks look less full and highlight the cheek bones giving a more sculpted facial appearance.
