Is this considered as swelling or is this the rough shape of my nose after rhinoplasty? (Photos)

Question

I got a rhinoplasty 10 months ago, I went in with a bump on my nose and asked simply for a straight nose nothing else. I just wanted the bump gone. I am currently worried because the nose doesn’t swell straight it’s has what could possibly be swelling but this has a slight curb it and i haven’t came across anyone who might have a similar problem.

Thank you for your question and photos. It can take a full year for the nose to heal after rhinoplasty, and you may still have some residual swelling. If, after a year, you are still unhappy with your results, you may consult with your surgeon to discuss your options. A revision rhinoplasty may improve the results or correct any issues from your primary surgery.
 
I recommend consulting with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon with expertise in revision rhinoplasty. They can assess your concerns and determine the best approach to achieve your desired outcome.

Based on your photos, you appear to have somewhat thick and oily nasal tip skin that can hold on to swelling for over a year. If you have excessive swelling in the skin just above your tip, a dilute steroid injection to the puffy area may be helpful. If this is not helpful, several droplets of Silikon-1000 may be injected to the indentation visible on your nasal profile, in order for you to achieve a straight nasal profile appearance. Overall I think your nose looks good.,The tip does look a little full which could be improved with steroid injections. It is quite common to do this

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you might need a revision surgery for get rid of the crocked image on your nose bridge. After 10 months usually the swelling is gone mostly. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

It is probably a small remnant of cartilage above the nasal tip(mini pollybeak). It is very important to perform surgery on the tip of the nose together with the hump removal to avoid this type of remnants.
