It's unlikely that your vision changes are due to Latisse, however I recommend you follow up with an ophthalmologist for a formal evaluation. Prp and viviscal are alternatives for regrowing eyelashes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. I would suggest a consultation with an ophthalmologist in your area given your concerns about vision change. All the best.
Hello wiley1953, Latisse comes from a family of medications called prostaglandin analogs, which are used in the treatment of glaucoma. These medications are not without side effects, however. In fact, one of the side effects is eyelash growth, which has prompted the use of Latisse for that purpose. They can, albeit rarely, cause swelling in the macula area of the retina and thus blurring of the vision. If this persists, I encourage you to see an ophthalmologist for a thorough examination. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your question. Latisse should just be put on the eyelash line, so it's very unlikely that it would change your vision even if it were to have gotten in your eye. I would recommend seeing an opthalmologist to make sure there is nothing else going on.
