Does Latisse cause blurred vision and need for glasses?

Question

I used Latisse back in 2010 and noticed a change in vision. I stopped using, but did not recall my vision improving. Is this a known side effect and is it permanent? I know the serum works on my lashes, but now that I am using it regularly again my vision has declined. Is it more likely aging or is it the use of this product. My eye doc had no knowledge.....please advise.

It is unlikely that Latisse changed your vision, however I recommend you see an ophthalmologist for a formal evaluation. Alternatives are prp and viviscal to grow lashes. Best, Dr. Emer

It is very unlikely this is from Latisse. Latisse only goes on the skin above your eyes. Not into them. When using it properly there is no way it is getting in your eyes. Plus with that being said, the ingredient in Latisse is used to treat glaucoma and improves vision. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion.
