I just had bbl and I am 5' and 140 lbs. removed 3800cc of fat yet he only could use 500cc per hip/butt. That's nothing and I'm two weeks post op and hips are almost gone! It's was 18000 and I'm so sad! He's supposed to to the best in NYC!! What's with bad fat?? Why couldn't I get better results??

Answer: Having enough fat for a bbl when liposuction is performed, there is more than just pure fat that is removed. there is a fluid that is generally placed into the tissues first - which both helps numb the area and also minimize bleeding. when liposuction is performed, both this fluid and fat are removed together. of the 3800 cc removed, it may be that only 1,000 of it was fat - and this was divided up and used for each side (500 for one hip/butt, and 500 for the other hip/butt). two weeks postop is not enough time to see any sort of final result. at this point the best thing to do is follow-up with your plastic surgeon and review your progress together. several months from now - review your pre and post-op photos together and then discuss your concerns with them.
