I would recommend PICO technology for removal of your tattoo. It works very well for black ink and I think you would have a successful result.

I own the PicoSure and I have been very happy with the results we have see with our patients.  It's less painful and than the older lasers (like Q-switch). 

It can be removed with high powered Q Switched lasers. Most are not high enough power to prevent blistering and scarring. The larger the spot size, the less risk to the skin, and faster treatments. When the laser is underpowered, the spot size must be decreased, and that's when problem occur. I use a combination of pico and nano second laser (Piqo4). It gives benefits of both pulse durations. You must have a laser with a 1064 wavelength to get this tattoo. It will take many treatments - maybe 10.

Thank you for your question. Pico lasers are the most advanced technology. My laser preference is the  PiQo4 laser which has 4 Pico wavelengths including the 1064 wavelength for black pigment. Tattoos are removed faster and safer with Pico lasers as there is less risk of scarring.
