I got teosyal fillers on my lips and nasolabial lines. A week later I went to add more bc I thought my lips were thin, and still looked sad, so she added a little more. It's been a week since the 2nd time and I have lumps. When I have my mouth closed it looks great, but when I talk it looks "weird and hard". The bumps are bothering me.My doctor said that I bled a lot so the bumps are not from the filler, but from blood. She told me to leave it alone and that it would go away. Is that correct?

Swelling and bruising is a common side effect of lip injections. Typically patients should wait 2 weeks for these symptoms to subside to be assessed. If you have dense areas of product - visit your injector for a follow up and have them massage the area. After 2 weeks and the product is still evident, schedule a follow up and discuss the option of hyaluronidase injection to dissolve the product. Good Luck.
