Recently started using SkinMedica retinol 0.5% and would like to know if Retin-A will produce better results.

I have been using skin medical 0.5% retinol cream for the past six weeks for anti-aging. This is cream is working good for me but I didn't realize that retinol is different from retinA. I just want to get the best result possible. Will the prescription strength work better? Can I use them interchangeably.
