If Ultherapy damages skin cells to promote more collagen, should I expect some laxity during the healing process?

I'm a 53 year old male who got Ultherapy about 8 weeks ago . I am seeing severe skin laxity and fat loss in my face and neck. I'm pretty sure this was the result of a poor Ultherapy treatment, but my provider is telling me to expect some laxity while the collagen build up process is continuing. is this true?
