Dental implant gone wrong! The dentist installed implant but the tooth is higher and larger than the other front tooth (Photo)

The dentist installed an implants however the tooth is higher and larger then the other front tooth. The left front tooth has a crown as half of it broke off. Shouldn't the dentist have fixed the gum prior to the implant (bone grafting?) and now is it too late to fix? Also the shape is off and both teeth are discolored. Any advice will be gratefully appreciated. I spent lots of money to not be satisfied with my smile. I just don't know how to go about it- its been a few months now since the "fix".
