My lower teeth are not centrally aligned, they're shifted to right and are quite overcrowded with the canines partially overlapping the lateral incisors. My orthodontist recommended that I remove my bottom left premolar to address this (removing two may create too many gaps). It makes sense to remove one premolar to shift my teeth so they are more centrally aligned, but I'm worried if removing one premolar and not the one on the other side will cause symmetrical issues with the profile and jaw?
