48 Yo Female W/ Braces 2nd Time
I had braces for 2 years in high school. The metal kind with rubber bands... After it was all done, my teeth were fairly straight but not perfect... Over time, my teeth shifted, and my bite became much worse. I was having a lot of jaw pain due to TMJ and clenching. One theory is that clenching is from misalignment of teeth. I saw Dr. Bhagia who proposed a fairly straightforward plan to get my teeth re-aligned using the Indvisalign system. It was to be an 18 month treatment of
This story is about Ceramic braces, but first I have to tell you that I wrote a previous review about my Invisalign Braces that I wore for 1-1/2 years, titled "Anxiety and Elation about Invisalign." I am not crazy. Invisalign did straighten my teeth, but didn't failed to correct the slight over-jet of my front teeth sitting on the two neighboring teeth. This was the main reason I got Invisalign braces was because I didn't want my teeth all bunched up in front. Invisalign also
I got my invisalign 8 weeks ago and it's probably the best investment yet. I am on tray 4 of 26 for top and 26 for bottom. I have somewhat straight teeth, but I pretty noticeable overbite. Invisalign trays with AcceleDent, it works great!
I started my Invisalign treatment back in May 2015. It is a really big commitment to make and keeping your trays on most of the day. When you don't you tend to have a lot of tenderness and soreness when you finally put it on. This is a really big investment and I strongly recommend if you're going to do this you're really fully committed to keep the trays on. 8 months after I started my treatment I got engaged Jan 2016. Which made me decide to ask my doctor how long it was
Today I picked up trays 2 (which is actually my first tray) & 3 of 41. I am 49 years old and have some bone loss. A subject I have not seen covered here. I am interested to see how my progress will go. My concern with Invisalign and Metal braces were the loss of teeth due to my bone loss. My Ortho could not give a 100% determination because each case is different. However, he opted for the Invisalign treatment because he could move the teeth at a much slower pace to try and
Ok I have been a stalker in this site for well over a year...created an account a few months ago and now have procedure scheduled. I am a 40 yr old, married and mother of 2 (18 & 6). I have been wanting a TT ever since I had my 1st kid. I was very small and petite and well that was all over after I had her weighing in at over 8 lbs. I am 5 feet tall and weigh 150. My weight has been an issue ever since i received my stripes (stretch marks). I would loose weight and be disgusted
