Best way to remove a fibrous papule that will prevent regrowth and scarring?

I have a fibrous papule on the side of my nose and I've had it for years. I went to the family doctor to get it checked and she said it's a benign papule. I heard that people do shave excisions, electrocautery, or laser. Which method is the best and will minimize the chance of regrowth and scarring? I heard electrocautery requires 1-3 treatments which is something that my bank account wouldn't be able to handle. Thanks!

Please consult a dermatologist who can diagnose the papule on your nose and explain which method of removal would be best for you. Shave removal with cautery is often used for benign fibrous growths, typically only one treatment is required. With any type of treatment, there is some potential of recurrence.
