I have contacted 3 doctors who declined my request for rhinoplasty. I do not like the projection of my nose compared to my chin. I would also like a slight curved slope to my bridge instead of just straight. My nose tip swells up a lot and gets red when I cry or do exercise, it also gets sore and sensitive (due to my rosacea?). I have 1 mL of HA injections in my chin and my nose still looks long. I do not want a chin implant as I prefer a delicate chin and jaw. Why do I keep getting refused?

However, there is no problem for you to be exposed to smoke 2 weeks after your Rhinoplasty, which is about the usual time you would need off work anyway.

Steroid injections are mostly recommended and needed after a rhinoplasty on a thick skinned nose. It’s usually done after 1st, 2nd and 3rd month. Sometimes it’s enough to get only one injection. But it’s not a rule, and it can also be done even after a year.
