Is it necessary to use steroid injections or is it possible to allow time to heal swelling?

Hello, I am exactly 6 months post-op and I do see swelling all around the tip (round, almost bulbous) of my nose and ends right before it reaches the supratip break area. If I choose not to utilize any steroid injections will time itself reduce the swelling in the same way the injection would have done faster? Or would end result be different vs injection.

Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to do one of these cases and it was terrible. The threads cause significant inflammation and scar tissue. I would definitely consider you a revision rhino case in terms of complexity. Make sure you choose a surgeon that has revised threads in the nose before...
