Dear Nicole, Please see an eye specialist immediately. Tell the receptionist your history. They will get you in ASAP. If nobody will see you in their office, head to the emergency department where you will have access to an on-call eye specialist. I hope this information is helpful.

You should  be evaluated by an ophthalmologist as soon as possible your symptoms seem unusual and need to be further investigated by an expert.  

Go see an Ophthalmologist. . .right now.  You're putting yourself at risk treating yourself and seeking advice online.

The first thing to do, as you did, is to wash the eye out with copious amounts of water. The nail polish probably caused a chemical burn to the cornea causing the protective reflex to close the eye. I would recommend you see an Ophthalmologist for further treatment which may include eye drops and temporary patching of the eye to protect the cornea and for your comfort as it heals which can take several weeks.
