So i have gone through 12 weeks worth of trays for invisalign and Im starting to feel like i shouldnt have ever got them in the first place. I had a check up appointment recently but I wasn't asked how i was feeling about the treatment, and when i brought up that i didn't want to continue it was brushed off and ignored. I go to therapy for stress and anxiety and my therapist is the only person who has listened to me.

Hi Marjones!Yes you can do Invisalign even if you have veneers, (but not crowns!), in fact many patients do. Invisalign offers retainer options, but not a permanent retainer. If that is something you want, you and your dentist can discuss options for a permanent retainer.
Wearing the aligners more than instructed time will delay your treatment. It won't cause any damage & but it's like a pause on your treatment. If for some unexpected incidents, you can not go to your dentist on time or there is an issue with your treatment & your other trays are being remade,...
Hi Rzayan,The etching creates small grooves on the surface of the tooth that allows your Invisalign attachments to grip onto. Since they were sliding before, the etching is necessary for the Invisalign to work it's magic properly. When all is said and done, your veneers can be polished smooth again.
