Hi to all dear doctors 4 years ago i had major depression and i started cutting myself on hand now i feel much better but left with these white scars I went to 3 doctors , each had a different suggestion one said: microneedling On said : laser co2 and the last said there is nothing you can do in fact you d better not do anything cause it might get worse since the skin on this part of hand is very firm and even if you do get results it might be very mild ones so its not worth doing anything

Scars can be temporary or permanent and there are many aspects of scars that can be improved. During your consultation, we look to determine the textural changes, hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, scar color, scar contour depth, scar atrophy, inflammation, and scar thickness. Once complete, a HIDEF protocol is established that includes pigmentation protocols to either lighten or darken scar tone, retexturization of scars, inflammatory mediators, lasers, and contour correction. All of these require time and multi-plane correction.
