Superficial chemical peels were unlikely to do much in this case, so no surprise with your disappointment there. And, as far as gizmo treatments, like fraxel lasers, RF devices, and Tixel, the hard science to support the use of these relatively expensive bells and whistles lags woefully behind the heavy marketing and social media buzz that surrounds these often here-today-gone-tomorrow fads. So, again, no surprises there, either.
