At least from the photos provided, there appears to be two major issues. One is the indented portion of the scar and the second are the surface texture and color irregularities that may those portions stand out from the surrounding normal skin. Subcision, which I have been performing since 1995, has a several decades' long track record for safety and efficacy for elevating and smoothing indented scars in all skin types. For the remaining portion of the scar that demonstrates surface texture and color irregularities as compared to the surrounding normal skin, professionally performed manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling, especially in skin of color) can be used to blend the treated skin with the surrounding normal skin. As to adding expensive PRP, unfortunately, the hard science to substantiate the marketing hype and social media buzz that surrounds its use is lacking. You would be wise to make sure that you are consulting with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist scar treatment specialist. Best of luck.
