Could Radiesse mimic a jawline implant to get desired results?

Question

These are the before after photos of my ideal look.. I did not want to commit to a jaw implant as it’s very invasive and would prefer doing maintenance filler. Could this be achieved and how many syringes estimated?

First, let me say that despite using Radiesse from the days before its rebranding, when it was originally called Radiance, I stopped using it a number of years ago when the more robust and longer-lasting HA fillers came on the scene. The obvious advantage of these more durable HAs is that they can be relatively easily dissolved with hyaluronidase, in the event of an unwanted or untoward reaction whereas it can be quite difficult to manage untoward reactions to Radiesse, since there is no equivalent enzyme to dissolve it.
Robust HA contouring fillers can work well to strengthen, straighten and define the jawline for a more masculine look. Filler teating the jawline, like treating other areas of the face is not a one-size-fits-all matter. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert who after examining you close-up and palpating and manipulating your skin can give you a better idea of how many syringes would be necessary to achieve the desired results. Using Radiesse for creating a chiseled jawline is one of the most ideal products in my opinion. As long as the procedure is done with the use of a small cannula, it is quick and painless.
