Cheeks still very big 5 years after Radiesse injections. Is this normal?

I stopped using Radiesse many years ago already. The original advantage of semipermanent was longer-lasting results than were obtained with other kinds of natural fillers, such as HA fillers. However, once longer-lasting, more durable HA fillers were FDA approved and brought to market, I could no longer see the rational for continued use of the semipermanent fillers. since, unlike the HA fillers, complications or adverse reactions to them could not be easily dealt with. What's more complications could occur, as appears to be the case here, even years after the treatment.
Fortunately, I have been able to achieve gratifying improvement in patients who come to me from elsewhere with these kinds of semipermanent filler (or permanent filler) complications employing an algorithm of varying combinations, concentrations and amounts of intralesional anti-inflammatory agents.
