After using Radiesse for many years beforehand, I stopped using it quite once newer, more robust HA fillers came on the scene that offered longer and more durable results than were obtained with ordinary HA fillers, like plain Juvederm or simple Restylane, and could be dissolved quite readily, should the need arise, with hyaluronidase.. Radiesse, unfortunately, has no such equivalent enzyme to dissolve it.
That being said, I have had success in treating dissatisfied Radiess patients who had been treated with it elsewhere, employing an algorithm of varying combinations, concentrations and amounts of intralesional anti-inflammatory agents.
