Hello, and thank you for your question and photo. I believe you will need a combination of treatments: skin tightening with laser therapy ( fractional non ablative laser ), combined with repeated injectable PRP plus / minus HA filler treatments to restore the volume loss..Microneedling will help too with the fine lines, but in your case you will need many treatments.Good luck,Dr. Oxana Popescu
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Although Microneedling can improve crepiness in these area, I have found Chemical Peels and Fractional CO2 Resurfacing to give better results. We use the Active FX/Deep FX laser and have seen excellent results in crepiness, fine lines and skin tighteningFractional CO2 Resurfacing delivers energy in small dots that penetrate deeper into the skin to help build new collagen and elastin. The heat from the laser also generates skin contraction and tightening. We can treat the entire upper and lower eyelids with CO2 as long as eye shields are used.We offer customized chemical peels (and eye peels) ranging from light to medium strength depending on your skin type and how bad the crepiness is.
I like to use a combination of different treatment modalities when improving the eyes. In your case, this would probably include an HA filler like Restylane for undereye volume loss, Botox or Dysport to open up the eyes, raise the eyebrows and treat dynamic lines and wrinkles around the eyes, and Ematrix (Sublative Rejuvenation) which used bipolar radiofrequency. The Ematrix helps stimulate collagen production. I find it helpful when trying to improve the quality of the skin around the eyes.
Microneedling with PRP works very well at refreshing your skin and stimulating collagen production. You will need multiple sessions, spaced 3-4 was apart. I would consider Vivace that uses microneedling with RF energy for optimal tightening.
It appears from the photo that you might benefit from under eye fillers or eMatrix and Thermage for the under eye area. It may take a combination of treatments to help this as well. In addition you would benefit from microneedling and PRP for the under eye area. Please consult an expert in under eye area. Best, Dr. Green
Under eye skin is too thin to safely do microneedling in that area.In my office, we have seen nice improvement of under eye wrinkling by having patients apply at home a high-quality human growth-factor serum derived from stem cells. This is the same serum we use in combination with microneedling the remainder of the face. We also gently apply it to the eyelids at the end of their treatment. Microneedling alone will help improve the skin, but when combined with growth-factor serums, the skin improvement is much more dramatic. This is because micro-needling creates micro-channels in the skin which enhance penetration of topical serums and medications, dramatically increasing their effectiveness. Up to 80% of product can penetrate the skin compared to 7 to 10% with normal topical application. We use the ProCell Therapies system which combines motorized micro-needling with concentrated human growth factor serums made from human stem cells. Our patients also use growth factor serum at home after the office treatment.
That is a deep depth for microneedling at home. I would suggest decreasing the depth and using a hyrdating serum that allows for some slip or glide of the microneedling pen. Keep in mind that you can cause additional scaring to the area if not done properly. I would suggest...
We usually recommend refraining from exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment for any microneedling session, no matter what depth of needle is used. After microneedling, the epidermis is temporarily compromised and you don’t want to risk anything post procedurally.
Stretch marks are very difficult to eradicate. Microneedling with PRP makes them less noticeable. You will need many sessions perhaps 6-7 spaced 3-4 weeks apart. After just one session you cannot see any difference. It takes weeks for collagen to develop. Microneedling is a medical procedure ...
