Pink light scar on nipple turned red? (Photo)

Hello! I had a ba 2 months ago with a areolar lift . My scars were a light Pink around the areola and healing pretty well, but yesterday I went out for a drink and had sex. Now I have dark red dots around my nipples and I dont understand why? Have I ruined the chances of having nice looking scars? What could of caused that sudden change in Color ? I am worried :(

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this is a potential complication with breast lifts and implants. The nipple areola complex is put under a lot of stress with its movement - and the blood supply can be compromised with the placement of an implant. Your entire areola is slightly purple...
