How do I know if I am putting too much strain on my abdominal muscles or my incision site?

I am 5 days post lipo/tummy tuck. I have been resting/sleeping in a recliner. When I get out of the recliner (every 1-2 hours to pee) I use my arms & legs as much as I can, but I feel I am using my abd muscles too. I feel a pinching on my left lower side where my incision is. How do I know if I am putting too much strain on my abd muscles or my incision site? I don't want to pull apart/tear anything. I almost don't want to get up so often, but I am staying hydrated & I walk a bit when I'm up too
