Can you put Radiesse on your chin? Should it be half or full syringe?

Question

I know the radiesse syringe is different from others. I had a filler in my chin last year. I'm not sure which one, and now I'm getting dimpling so I'm assuming I need more again. I wanted to know if radiesse is a good choice. Thank you!

Maria Eliza7, Radiesse is certainly a good option for chin dimpling as it promotes collagen synthesis to smooth out the skin and last a bit longer than HA fillers. Do keep in mind that Radiesse is not reversible like the HA fillers, so if your results are not as you expected it cannot be reversed and it may take up to 12-15 months to metabolize. Be sure to find a provider that you trust, and hopefully they will determine an appropriate amount for you. Chin dimpling is from overactive muscles with increased connections to the skin surface. Small amounts of Botox, well placed, can reduce this muscle activity causing animated dimpling that is intermittent. Dimples that are always present should respond best to a filler.

Radiesse is one of the best fillers that can be used in chin augmentation. The amount of filler that needs to be used should only be determined at the time of the treatment. In order to approximate the amount of filler to be used, the patient must be evaluated or photographs should be evaluated ahead of the treatment.
