I burned my face with lactic acid at home, I have ugly burns on my face how can I heal them?

I’ve been using lactic acid for a while now, I mix 25% with my moisturizer and I’ve been putting it on every day. Last night I put on way too much and it burned my face and now I have these horrible ugly marks on my skin, I don’t even want to go out in public. I’m very worried that they will scar, how can I heal them the best without scarring my face? I’ve been putting moisturizer, vitamin e oil, and aloe Vera on it.

What you have been doing may be adequate to help these burns, depending on what else is in the products you have been using. If I were to pick one, I would go with just the aloe vera if it is pure. However,a better option is an antibiotic ointment like Bacitracin, Polysporin, or something similar. After you are healed, Do not go back to doing home peels since, as you have learned, they are dangerous. See a skin care professional in the future.
