Will Morpheus8 work on me if Ultherapy didn't? (Photo)

Question

I have some loose / puckered skin under my chin after doing Coolscupting (big mistake!) . I tried doing Ultherapy to tighten things up but did not see any results -- it's been almost a year. Does this mean that it's unlikely my skin will respond well to Morpheus8 or other RF microneedling, like Profound, either? I would rather not do surgery, but I also don't want to waste money on more non-surgical treatments if they're unlikely to work.

Not seeing results with Ultherapy doesn’t mean you won’t respond to other treatments.
Morpheus8 (RF microneedling) works more superficially to stimulate collagen and can help tighten and improve texture in that area. It can also be customized if there’s any remaining fullness.

It is very common for patients to see results from Morpheus8 even after "failing" Ultherapy, as these technologies are fundamentally different. While Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound to target the deep structural SMAS layer (essentially trying to "shrink-wrap" the muscle), Morpheus8 uses Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling to treat the skin from the inside out. Since your issue is "puckered" skin&mdash;a frequent side effect of CoolSculpting known as skin laxity or shelfing&mdash;Morpheus8 is actually better suited for your needs. It works by coagulating subdermal fat and forcing collagen contraction in the dermis, which specifically addresses the surface irregularities that Ultherapy often misses. However, if your skin laxity is significant, a surgical neck lift remains the only "guaranteed" fix; Morpheus8 will provide improvement, but it cannot mimic the results of a blade.
