I have used propecia and minoxidil for the last 5 years with great results..Shedding does happen now and again however it seems fine but I have patchy areas where the hair had already gone before I started the treatment. I am wondering whether it will last forever as if it does then I would be interested in having a hair transplant to fill in the gaps but if it doesn't then I wouldn't as I do not have sufficient donor hair to cover my whole head and would be left with problems in the future.
