Chin implants are manufactured in a variety of sizes and shapes, are inserted through sub mental approach under local anesthesia as an outpatient surgery2. a sliding genioplasty would involve mandibular osteotomies, advancing the bone forward and downward allowing the teeth to fit better into alignment.
