PRP PRF Plasma gel treatments are becoming very popular due to the recent backlash against dermal fillers and many people are confused about the terminology. Here is a quick explanation: The concept behind these treatments is to take advantage of the natural growth factors that are stored in the platelets in your blood. PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is a way to concentrate the platelets and inject them into the target tissue so that a signal can be released to start the healing cascade.
