I have had 2 prf injections. It has been about 1.5 months. I have seen no difference in my appearance. I am 61 years old. How many treatments should I need and when should I expect to see results? Should I continue with prf or switch to dermal fillers? Could my age be the reason I am not seeing any visible results?
Hi everyone! Although I'm still quite young( 30yo), I have a very damaged eye area with creapy skin especially in the undereye. Knowing that it is a somewhat difficult area to treat, I became interested in the prf and prp technique. What is the difference between the two? Can the wrong injection of prp or prf in the eye contour cause blindness as if using a normal filler?
I was diagnosed earlier this year with Lichen Planoparis and am looking into getting PRF + Acell treatment. Ive seen one Dr. mention adding acell doesnt work, and another saying its unnecessary and may cause more swelling and trauma to the scalp. Although my hair thins, I still have a head full of hair, but my crown has a noticeable wide part. Will I still benefit from PRF alone?
It seems that platelet rich fibrin injections have some promise related to improving skin laxity and collagen production. Aside from needing a few treatments and the results being delayed by several months, if laxity is the only concern around eyes, mid-face and nasolabial folds, would PRF be a good option? Is there an area where PRF isn't recommended? For laxity improvement only, what else would be more recommended and beneficial (mid-face, under eyes, nasolabial folds)?
I had co2 in december to address dark under eye circles. I saw no results and was advised to try prp. Did 1 injection and my under eyes are darker now than before. I dont know if this is broken blood vessels or staining but am desperate for help. Seems each person i ask, they recommend different. One said do hydroquinone cream then prf..the original doctor seems unsure and says maybe co2 under eye again? Ive been googling and see q switch. I dont want to be an experiment, i need a solution. Help. Will include pic. (Top before prp)
The slower spinner device is relatively reasonably priced & there are impressive before & after pictures showing results with a dr using this amazing source. He also explains in detail the better benefits of PRF compared to PRP. I think the slower spinner machine might be called eclips- but I don't recall. Spinning at a slower spin, with the current PRP machines do not work. This small sized slower spinner model only yields the wonderful PRF results needed!
I had my first procedure 2 weeks ago and I would like to know if this method is effective for hair loss in your experience. As I live far from a big city I only found this place that is not far away and it uses Selphyl only It it is a good method I ll have my second procedure there, otherwise I ll have to search for another place Thanks for your help.
