Pre operating bloodwork - Where do I go?

Question

I am getting a cosmetic procedure in a foreign country; but I am required to get pre surgery bloodwork. What is the cheapest way to go about this? I understand I could request all these at a local diagnostic such as Quest, but it can still be very pricey.

Dear vasselina24,

every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your query. It is nice to hear from you as  I did my Plastic surgery residency from Umass. in your city of Worcester, and moved back to India several years back. Most of my patients who come from overseas for BBL or other major procedures have their prep testing done, the day before the procedure, at my office ( very economical  and reliable), unless they have significant medical issues. I am sure the surgeon you are going to will have similar facilities. If you have had a wellness check by your Primary care, then you are all set anyway. All the best!

Dear Vasselina24, thanks for sharing your concern, if you already have a selected surgeon get in touch with his or her team in order to get the right place, there are mostly specific places to go. In my case just bloodwork perform in our center is accepted due to security purposes. However every plastic surgeon has his own pre operative protocol which he recommends to his/her patients.
