I had my gallbladder removed 2.5 months ago. My top three incisions healed very nicely but the incision at my belly button took forever to heal because of infection. So, I was fine for a few weeks but then a few days ago inside my belly button ( not the incision) there was discharge that was yellow and bloody and smelled awful. There's also a hole inside my belly button. Any ideas what this could be?

Answer: Endoscopic gallbladder Infection at the Umbilicus.
An abdominoplasty is performed in the supine position, laying on your back. To tailor the skin and fat flap at the end of the procedure the head of the bed is generally flexed 15 to 20 degrees and the excess skin is excised. I have never heard of placing a patient in a chair. ...
Thank you for the photographs. It does appear a bit of center but this may be better once all the swelling is gone and healing is complete. I would re-evaluate it then. The necessary treatment if it is off center is worse than the belly button position.
