Hello! I am 35 5’8 and 145 lbs. I follow a strict diet, incline cardio, strength training, Pilates-I do all the right things and regardless of weight my natural bone structure leaves me with flank fat. I had been looking into emsculpt Neo done with the flank handles but I’m unsure if the med spa is just trying to sell me on something that isn’t going to be effective and I will regret not putting the money towards liposuction or a different procedure.

The med spot is trying to sell you something that absolutely will not improve your contour. Solution to your problem is fairly easy and straightforward. You’re correct that bone structure does have a pretty big impact and is genetically based guide to So is a fat distribution. You can’t change your bone structure, but you can definitely permanently manipulate your fat distribution. The best outcome would be Liposuction of your love handles with fat transfer to your hip dip area.In the hands of the right provider, you should have a stellar outcome getting pretty much exactly what you want to go. You should be able to transform this to a more or less perfect S curve. Your candidacy for the procedure is straightforward. You’re a really good candidate for liposuction with or without fat transfer. There are only two variables that determine plastic surgery outcomes. The first is the patient candidate for the procedure and the second is the skill or experience of the provider. This pretty much narrows down your outcome to only one variable. If you can find the right plastic surgeon you’re all set. Finding the right plastic surgeon is however, much more difficult than most people realize. The ability to deliver consistent quality outcomes when it comes to liposuction and fat transfer is more difficult than most people realize Most plastic surgeons deliver average work and average outcomes for these procedures isn’t always all that attractive. If you want an exceptional, you’ll have to find a plastic surgeon who is exceptional at this type of work. Doesn’t matter what their reputation is for other procedures. What matters is have they treated people For this problem before with a high success rate that they can demonstrate by showing you more before and after pictures, then you have time to look at it during the consultation. The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of these procedures is in reality quite small. To find the right provider, I suggest you do the following. Make sure you bring a complete set of body pictures to use as reference during any consultation. The pictures you’ve shown on your post are sufficient, but ideal pictures should include your body from your neck to your knees from all angles. Look at how plastic surgeons take before and after pictures to get an idea. Next make a list of plastic surgeons in your community who seem to have a good reputation for Liposuction and fat transfer.Liposuction with fat transfer to the hips or buttocks is often referred to as a BBL. Don’t let BBL results of other patients scare you away. We don’t need to end up with a giant bottom from this procedure. You would benefit from some volume in your hip-dips. Once you have a list of potential providers schedule in person consultations with each of those surgeons. I highly recommend patients avoid virtual consultations and always meet with the surgeon in person. During each consult consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you the entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own. A sufficiently experienced provider should have lots of examples of previous patients who had very similar body characteristics. To get a good understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider you need to see a lot of examples. Being shown a handful of results representing only the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like. If a provider claims they done several hundred of these procedures then they should ideally have several hundred before and after pictures to show you. Excuses of why they don’t have a lot of examples to show you is a red flag and you should continue onto the next consultation. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The more consultations you schedule the more likely you are to find a better provider for your needs. Most people have very little experience, consulting with plastic surgeons or vetting providers in regards to their skill and experience. Plastic surgeons on the other hand have done thousands of consultations and Will usually drive the consultation. When you’re consulting with a plastic surgeon, you are interviewing someone the importance of vetting plastic surgeons correctly cannot be overstated. The results from these procedures are permanent and irreversible. You’ve done poorly people can be left disfigured. Uf done correctly you’ll have a stunning transformation That you wish you were done sooner in life. The biggest mistake I see patients make is having only one consultation and then scheduling surgery. Another misunderstanding is that you can vet providers using your computer or cell phone. I highly recommend patients to schedule multiple consultations and always do so as in person consultations. Look for plastic surgeons with specialize exclusively in this procedure if possible. When in doubt, slow down and schedule more consultations. Do not attempt to get any impressive outcome from lesser or non-invasive procedure is try. There is no procedure other than Liposuction with or without fat transfer. That’s going to give you a good outcome. You need a permanent change to your fat distribution in which this procedure does perfectly. Like I said earlier in the hands of the right provider, you’ll have an amazing outcome. That is the one single variable Carrie. This response was dictated using word recognition guide I apologize for run-on and grammatical errors. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
